Sometimes, covering and hiding what people made to you even if they disturbed you as a joke will give them a wide space or what its supposed to call “freedom” to repeat that thing over and over. This is what I call or they already call “Personalty”. And as I said, sometimes a word from a friend harms more than a bullet.
Lately, I figured out that some friends have understood my respect toward them as a weakness, therefore, they gave themselves the right of saying anything at anytime. Eventually, I was really angry and mad on some of them who supposed to be matures and know what they say. It was my rule about a perfect friend but I have changed it to a new one:
Treat people as they treat you and the respect is a very important thing you should always keep in mind! If the reaction was the opposite or not what you have expected, treat the one as he did.
This is really working just fine. Now i don’t need to open a conversation with anybody (rarely happens) because I just smile and leave the place or I pretend that I am really busy.
Hopefully to see better understanding and acceptance for people with different views.

A very funny clip from “Steaf 911 drama” produced by Syrian Student Association in Canada. The Jordanian guy called “Abu Rebhi”, “Abu Miqhez” the Saudi guy and I forgot the name of the Syrian!
I am wondering if the same way or perhaps the same words are still alive or not. Now we have better words and techniques to that without using “zait kaz” or “teregen teregen”.

This is really one of the most interesting TED talks, the most beautiful and optimistic story of a guy who lived in a place where is no electricity or computers and no internet as well. He tried to generate electricity using some ugly and rubbish materials while others laughing and his mother saying :”You’re crazy!”. It’s a great story of a guy who trusted himself and knew how to keep up his believes. Nothing impossible in this life, But just stop nagging and start working!

In Arabic language, A word only can’t express that well! so that, they use “Kasra (a.k.a كَسرة): Arabic symbol determines how to pronounce a particular word” represented by a small and italic bar symbol under the letter that determines the intent of the word if it’s meaning refer to a man or a woman! if it refers to women they should use this symbol, but if not, they should use another symbol which it’s “Ftha (a.k.a فتحَة): Also an Arabic symbol determines how to pronounce a word represented by a small and italic bar above a particular letter, this symbol can make the meaning of the word refer to a woman.
The elections, streets, telecommunication companies, books, brochures and perhaps more than 80% of advertisements are uses words that refer to men like انتخب، صوتك، اضغط، ادخل، ادفع، اسحب and thousands of words without putting “Kasra” under the letters that makes these words refers to women!
Khede Kasra is really a great campaign targeted to empower the role of women in the Arab world started in Lebanon as a local campaign, but now it’s a wide, famous and large campaign. Personally, I loved the idea and I think they should spread it throughout the Arab world to make it so real.

A weird thing I have seen it many times in almost each supermarket I entered, and also before few hours ago, it’s about the new smokers women! I see that a lot of girls between 18-30 years old buying cigarettes as a long-time smoker man. Some of them not looking at this as a weird but a big part of them may feel shy or worry when buying cigarettes and pay to the cashier who’s looking at her face with a wide and “yellow” smile, I think each Cashier want to ask every single girl :”Where’s your father?”.
I know that every girl should take her freedom but this is not my point, my point and what I want to say is about the increasing proportion of women who begin smoking, we all know that we haven’t seen this percent ever.
I’m wondering why we start seeing this issue in our community, and what are the causes of it? Is it the life, or may be the stresses? responsibilities? No, then what is the main cause?. I do not think that the neglect of their families is a cause because when I say 18-30 years old I mean who finished their stage of adolescence, and they can take the correct decision most of the time, isn’t it?
Before three to five hours ago, I was in the supermarket waiting my turn to pay, A girl (approx. 20-24 years old) in front of me with her friend speaking to the cashier:
She: Hello, I need light-cigarettes with less Nicotine.
Cashier: mmm… I smoke imported Marlboro light, The golden pack! “He picked a pack”..
She: No no, I know this type, but it’s too bad and everyone in Jordan smokes it.. I need something “Special” for a girl! Ahh, It’s my first time, and I want to try a special thing.
Cashier: mmmmmm.. Yeah, what about Davidoff slim pack? you wanna see it?”He showed her the pack”.
He: Yeah Nada, What a nice pack!!!!! She: Smiled at him.
She: Well, Give me one…!!!
Poeple and me : Surprised then “hahahehehehahahahahehehahheheha”.
This is funny but also miserable to see this in our community and in our life.. The question is ” WHY?”.

Today, I have watched this video for a man who giving free hugs to people in the street, I know it’s a normal thing but absolutely not when we speak about Jordan, it’s the first man who did this and the people were afraid or in another word “Shocked” to see this.
I have published this video on Facebook and a friend of me commented:

To avoid shooting you if you’re a male you can only give hugs for males, if a female try to find women to give them hugs. What do you think of this?
