Photography Problems in Jordan
There are a lot of reasons behind the small number of Amman city photography productions. Camera type and model is not important here because we do not speak about “Quality” of photos but about the number of good shots and the value of each photo. In this post I wanna write some reasons and issues about this case.

Public Trash Bins: Actually in Amman there is a big number of annoying trash bins in wrong and unsuitable places with some rubbish around each bin! People really loves to threw their rubbish around and under the bin but not into it!! Perhaps, opening a bin and throwing some rubbish is a very hard thing! Check out the first picture to the left, compare the background at first then look at the bin! Do you see how bad?.
Cables: Now guess what? Really I hate these things. tens of electricity and phone cables (Including my own) covering everywhere and preventing you of having a clear and wide look at the sky. Rusty, old and huge number of them.
Under Construction: In this point you can add any public project especially all of incomplete buildings. You will see big ugly area around each building, empty cement bags, Iron bars, sand and gravel not only within the work area. Why they can’t gather everything in one place(s)? place for rubbish and another one for materials?. You have to wait until they finish their project to have a clear view, even though your window.
I think it’s not a photography problem but the whole city problem and really i think that Greater Amman Municipality should make some changes not to make a great places for photographers but to make a beautiful places for all, for you and me, and all of us.
