Computers Are Better Than Thousands Of People

You may noticed a lot of questions being posted nowadays on twitter, facebook and have been discussed on a lot of magazines and TV shows. It’s why we don’t talk a lot these days, and why people now prefers to stick to their computers instead of going out or even seeing friends and family. Here are my reasons.

You still want to ask this question?

A Bit About Photography

I always say that I am not a professional photographer, I’m a good one with the passion about taking good photos as much as possible, but what I have of tools do not help that much to be a professional photographer but it’s okay, I don’t have to take everything quickly because anything can wait, until I learn enough, I’m still a beginner who want to improve his skills.

The point is, everything you are new with, you need enough time to know it, and being a beginner doesn’t mean that I am not learning. I think that I am learning a new thing with my camera, everyday and one of of those things which is amazing, is how to take shots. I think it’s a good question to answer.

I have always wanted to take good pictures, but I always end up with multiple and different shots of an object, sometimes bad position that caused a light problem or unclear details. but between those multiple pictures there is only one that has a true meaning and it’s the best for a certain object.

I always wanted to take good pictures no matter how hard it is or if I like it or not, just a good picture that may impress someone on flickr or one of my friends. What I discovered was amazing, you should add your feelings to the shot you are going to take because you will never like if it has no feeling. Just point your camera and press the magical button as quick as you feel this is what you want to “see“. It’s all about you.

There is a quote everyone says which I didn’t believe:”Photography, it’s all about the photographer not the camera”. I always say that a camera is the main and the most critical piece of tool to every photographer, but I changed my mind when I started to see many pictures taken with an iPhone camera and they looks much better than ones taken with Canon G10 or G11. I might agree on the quality of the Canon camera but when I look to the ones taken with iPhone, I feel like they are better and pretty expressive, I feel and love them, truly.

Anyway, you may have different views about this point but I think if my point is not useful then it is good and make sense. Try to check my gallery on flickr. I wish you better and better shots, always.

Disabled Comments? Again?

I have got a lot of problems during my 2 years and 2 months blogging experience, I stopped for 2 months and got back again, I stopped comments section and enabled it again, another disable and enable and today, comments section is permanently closed on all posts.

Comments takes a large ear of each page what make me angry and it’s even harder when I don’t get a comment on a certain post. I appreciate your comments guys but here is why it’s closed permanently:

  1. This blog isn’t a social media or news blog, I mean it’s not like TechCrunch or Mashable, it’s just a simple and personal blog. I just write my thoughts because I like to share my them with all. Eventually, getting comments on my posts is not my goal and it’s not important but I enjoy reading your comments, tho.
  2. I always receive spam comments even after adding DISQUS comments system. I really hate that so much.
  3. They invent what we call “Email”. If you have a serious reply to any post I write, you can email me anytime and say whatever you want, and be sure, I will reply very soon because my email is running 24/24 on Mac, iPhone and iPad, so I will get your message anyway.
  4. Your right to comment ends at my front door.

I really appreciate all your comments, negative positive and even the aggressive ones. Thanks for stopping by.

According to Wakoopa, I’m Overloaded

Wakoopa, is a great web application that let you add what you use of apps and websites to your account, you can added friends and check apps reviews, and it’s cross-platform, Mac, iPhone, Web and Windows. A small free app running in the background collecting only running apps information and send them to your profile. It’s helpful to track your usage of the internet and your apps. It shows a graph with colorful representation of your usage, web, multimedia, utilities and even social networks apps and tools. Everything you use is available on Wakoopa.

I like how Wakoopa handle my levels, daily usage and show them overall as a level. There are 7 levels begins with Newbie and ends with Overload. I reached this level which is the final one 6 days ago. That explains a lot.

I think I took about 9 to a year to reach this. It doesn’t mean I am a good man but it tells me that there is something wrong I need to change in my life. I always check to see that my usage of the internet and desktop apps are between 17 and 20 hours a day. That’s isn’t great, at all.

Facebook, One Missing Feature.

Facebook, who the hell in earth didn’t hear of it before? unfortunately, nobody. I really hate it but I couldn’t delete my account because simply, they didn’t invent anything much popular than Facebook, yet.

I want to be respectful and say that I really hate when a facebook friend tag me in a picture or post because people either add you to pictures that totally sucks (ex: drunk, naked, or even in bed) or good pictures that also sucks.

Someone tagged me with 30 others to a photo says: “You are donkey”. Jackass, I bet, he was expecting us to comment nicely and “loling” to make him laugh. I was like crazy wondering what the hell he was thinking when he posted this photo and tagged us to it.

Why facebook didn’t apply tagging restrictions? I mean, it requires me to accept requests of all kinds, so why not tagging?. I don’t want to disable this feature but I want to be free choosing what to accept or deny.
